This inkstone follows the natural form of the stone in its artistry, integrating the natural textures of the mountains and rocks with the craftsmanship of human carving. The surface of the inkstone is built upon the theme of 'Embracing the Scenic Beauty of Mountains and Rivers,' with majestic overlapping peaks, winding valleys, hidden pavilions and bridges among the rocks, and a pond-like depression that serves as the ink reservoir. The natural stone veins intermingle with the carved patterns, as if a real landscape has been miniaturized within a small square, fully embodying the idea of 'boundless scenery.' The rugged mountains and the charm of the vegetation are depicted through shallow and pierced carving techniques.
