The vase has a classic 'Moon Embracing' shape, with a flat belly and double handles, fitting the auspicious form symbolizing 'embracing the moon and storing good fortune.' The body is fully decorated with the 'splashed blue glaze and gilding' technique — blue-and-white floral patterns are painted on a winding vine, graceful and elegant, and then gilded all over while allowing the blue-and-white glaze to show through. The golden brilliance complements the blue, highlighting its luxuriousness. The base bears the official kiln mark 'Made in the Xuande period of the Great Ming,' and the porcelain is fine and durable, reflecting the Xuande period’s principle of 'heavy materials and meticulous craftsmanship.'
